Company Culture

At XP Relines the company culture is the cornerstone foundation that underpins the personality of a company. Our drive to create a healthy company culture to ensure our longevity defines the environment in which our employees work. We focus on a broad range of corporate aspects, including our mission statement, values, expectations, and goals as well as focusing on the wellbeing of our greatest assets, our employees.

As a company XP Relines puts its employee’s work satisfaction and overall wellbeing at the top of the list.  By doing so, our staff are empowered and driven to carve their own career pathway. It also enables the collective (our reline crew) to achieve the quality we as a company expect to be delivered in a safe and efficient manner. When you achieve a positive and balanced work environment you will see it transform into a workforce that has high motivation, high morale, and a high level of buy-in to the collective goal. This is what we have achieved at XP Relines.

As the world starts to pull itself out of the covid pandemic, it is becoming more apparent that the pandemic has had a huge effect on individuals mental health. As a company we identified this early on and started to account for this as we defined our post covid strategy. As in any relationship, you need clear and positive communication which was needed to ensure our planning accounted for our diverse workforce. Open communication (if adapted well) means you allow your team to have a voice, but for this to work you as the employer need to be willing to listen and accept the feedback. Over the past 18 months, we have introduced 360-degree reporting / HR debrief surveys post relines designed to give all our staff a voice regardless of their position. This has enhanced our ability to detect imbalances in the crew and effect positive change.

It is paramount for our growth as a company that we provide the training and support to enhance our human asset which is our team. Training and regular upskilling is a priority for the company to ensure staff are operating within best practices and have correct qualifications, but it’s not always about work. Investing in the individual and providing guidance on things that will better them or their situation will always produce a positive effect. We believe in equal opportunities in the workplace and the emphasis on employee wellbeing across the entire business ensures that all employees feel fully supported both professionally and personally.

We believe that company culture is developed as a collective but maintained by the individual.
